Founded in 1971 was the Branch Institute of the Engineering Works as a training and educational establishment of the concern TST Praha. Its basic task was to provide for a nation-wide preparation of the workers introducing and servicing the NC technology of the production programme of the manufacturing concerns and further preparation of the concern executives.
The INSTITUT activity considerably contributed to modernisation of the production basis of the Czechoslovak mechanical engineering because it trained more than 20 thousand workers in the field of flexible automation in the course of the first 15 years of its activity which was one of the vital moments for successful introduction of NC technology and its application in the automated production systems.
In 1983 the INSTITUT activity extended with foreign workers trained in connection with the exports of the complete plant equipment (attendants, operators, executives) as a part of complex delivery. A part of that time INSTITUT was also the Branch Information Centre which provided information direction and co-ordination in the field of technological and rationalising designing in the field of machining and forming technology.
Already in 1988 and primarily after 1990 there has been a significant extension of entrepreneurial activities onto other industrial branches, building industry, banking sector, state administration, secondary school system and tertiary sector, mainly aiming for preparation of employees in the sphere of management, trade, marketing, economy, finance, accounting and human resources.
At the beginning of 1995 there have been taken decision at general annual meeting to change the official name of the company. INPRO - INSTITUT, spol. s r.o. enlarge entrepreneurial activities and it was successful enough to rank among the most important educational agencies in the CR. Simultaneously there have been huge enlargement in area of personnel consultancy and with that related services.
On June 3rd, 1997, a new joint-stock company INSTITUT INPRO PLC originated as a direct successor of the former company.
The enterprise INSTITUT INPRO PLC has been certificated in 1998 in accordance with quality standard ISO 9001. Till nowadays INSTITUT INPRO PLC is still continuing in above mentioned activities for national customers but also for foreign clients. Especially in the last few years we have successfully realized a lot of international projects in cooperation with foreign partners in the frame of funds PHARE, LEONARDO and also World Bank.
